Description
This pinback lapel pin or button is a souvenir from the successful 1936 Kansas gubernatorial campaign by Democrat Walter Huxman. The design includes the candidate's photo and the wordsHUXMAN FOR GOVERNOR
. This item
is composed of metal, has a concave face, and measures approximately 21 mm (nearly 7/8"). in diameter. The attachment pin is missing. The reverse has the printed mark of the manufacturer (Greenduck, Chicago), with a 1917 patent date.
This item is in good condition, with wear, signs of handling, and some soiling/discoloration. The design remains bold, and the manufacturer's information on the reverse is very legible.
