1950's ~ MUFFIE or GINNY 8" DOLL ~ JANE MILLER DRESS with EXTRA'S ~ GINGER & PAM

Description

Up for your consideration is a cute little dress that was made by Jane Miller to fit Muffie, Ginny or any of the 8" Toddler Dolls from the 1950's. This one is very nice and I just threw in some extra pieces to make an outfit. Let me tell you all about it. Please look at all the photos and use the enlarger as the photos are part of my description. If you have any questions, please ask them before you bid.
The dress is made out of a pink and white striped dimity fabric for the gathered skirt with a solid pink cotton bodice. The cuffs and little bow at the neck are also made out of the striped dimity. It closes in the back with two round white snaps and has the "Jane Miller" tag sewn on the inside. This dress is in very nice condition with no holes, tears or stains. The fabric is clean and the colors are bright. It is a cute little dress.
The white panties are newly made replacement panties and I really like them. They look very similar to Ginny's original panties and are soft and fit well. They have loopy picot trim.
Now, the socks and shoes are really just free. They aren't so good but, maybe you can fix the shoes up. The vintage white socks are stretched out but, have no holes or snags. The shoes are a whole 'nuther matter. It looks like someone tried to dye them a bright pink color but, it didn't work so good. One shoe is pinker than the other. I thought maybe you could tone one down with rubbing alcohol or vinegar and make them match more. The darker one is actually a nice color but, may be too dark for the dress. Anyway, I am just throwing them in. Knobs and straps are fine. They have plain heels.
