    .  Brendan Byrne was the Governor of New Jersey (1974-1982) and associated with the Democratic Party.  Byrne was known by Jersey Mobsters as "
    The Man Who Couldn't Be Bought
    " do to his unwillingness to adhere to the mob during that era.  The Brendan Byrne Arena Sports Complex located in the Meadowlands was named in his legacy but renamed years later.
    Winner will receive the displayed lot to include the commemorative / signing pen utilized by Governor Byrne during a signing.  The signing is unknown, however the picture and associated lot depict that the ceremony took place at Morven Museum & Gardens located in Princeton, New Jersey with Governor Brendan Byrne and Ambassador of State Richard Kadash in presence (displayed in picture).
