    LOT OF 7 EUGENE NICKERSON NY DEMOCRATIC PRIMARY POLITICAL MATERIAL 1968 & 1970. Nickerson was the first Democrat elected Nassau County Executive in many years. In 1968 he was Bobby Kennedy's candidate for US Senate and lost the primary to Paul O'Dwyer who then lost in November to Jacob Javits. In 1970 he sought the Democratic nomination for Governor but lost out to Arthur Goldberg who then lost in November to Nelson Rockefeller.
