  • Condition: PLEASE REVIEW PHOTOS AND ITEM DESCRIPTION FOR CONDITION DETAILS. Tray has very nice colors and clear scene. Face of tray has minmal scratches with 3 small chips ( see photos) from small dent on reverse. Reverse has scuffs, scrapes and scratches and small dent as described. Bottom edge has wear ring. Rim has some scrapes and some surface rust. Tray has very nice color and displays well.

    Description

    Pre-Pro (1910) August Schell Brewing Co. Deer Brand Beer Tray New Ulm, Minn. 14".
    This round metal beer tray measures 14 inches in diameter by 1 1/4 inches deep.  Tray has a blue rim,  inside edge and reverse.  An outdoor scene on tray face in shades of ivory, beige and brown.  At very top is a very nice August Schell Brewery Logo ( a deer jumping through AS logo).  Below is a very beautiful buck with an impressive rack.  Print to left in red - DEER and to right - BRAND.  Below is blue lettering with gold color contrast - BEER.  Lettering toward bottom -  BREWED AND BOTTLED BY ( in red) -  AUGUST SCHELL BREWING CO ( in blue) - NEW ULM, MINN. ( in blue).  In very tiny lettering in blue ( tray manuf) - THE NOVELTY ADV. CO. COSHOCTON, O. .  There are blue and gold colored rings around face of tray to edge.  Reverse has scuffs and scratches and a small dent ( seen as 3 tiny chips on front).  Bottom edge has wear ring  Rim has some scrapes and surface rust.  Front has nice colors with minimal scratches.  There are 3 small paint chips from small dent on reverse.
