    Description

Gorgeous 1955/1956 Auburn Hair, Brown Eyes Nancy Ann Muffie wearing her crisp and MINTY original outfit called "Muffie's Valentine"  that can be seen in Figure 54 on page 93 of The Muffie Puzzle Almost Solved! book by Lillian Roth. Her dress alone can be seen in figure 902 on page 87. Pristine Condition, in Original Valentine's Outfit with correctly labeled box bottom (only the bottom of the box and heart insert, NO BOX TOP) with red heart cutout insert.
She is a straight-leg walker, her walker works like new. Perfect arms and hands, arms hold a pose easily. No cracks in any seam. She does have some light red transfer on her body from wearing the same dress for 65 years!Gorgeous auburn hair in the original set, brown eyes with molded/beautifully painted lashes. Her face has beautiful color, her torso does have some light red dye transfer from the original dress she has been wearing for over 65 years. Please look at the pictures to see how light it is.
CRISP red taffeta dress with white heart lace trim, attached crisp organdy half-slip trimmed with heart-lace trim. Red felt hat with ribbon ties and maribou feather trim, white organdy heart-lace trimmed panties, white knit rayon socks and red vinyl flat-bottom, side-button shoes. The caribou feather on her hat is shedding, otherwise the doll and outfit are pristine.
The box bottom is a bit bent - again please look at the photos to see the extent - with no seam splits and a totally intact end label. The cardboard heart liner was torn at thinnest portion on sides of heart but was repaired with linen tape. Small area where it looks like red color was lifted maybe by tape? I almost colored it in - it would be so easy to do - but I didn’t.
She is a beautiful doll in a harder-to-find outfit. A wonderful addition for your collection! She is pristine, smells good and has never been around smoke. Totally, a  wonderful little doll!
